The Middle School Track Team got off to an impressive start to the meet schedule with victories over Watertown and Weston on both the Boys and Girls side. We will hit the road for the first time this Friday to face John Glenn Middle School in Bedford which is typically a formidable opponent. Despite a fierce headwind on Friday, many of our athletes posted PR's. Hopefully we can continue that against the Buccaneers!
Monday - practice at the middle school from 3:30-4:45
- Our Relay teams for Friday's meet will be announced. This will allow further chemistry and hand-off practice as well as give other athletes a chance to form their own relay squads.
Tuesday - practice at the middle school from 3:30-4:45
- Line-ups for Fridays meet will be announced and posted to the blog after.
Thursday - practice at the middle school from 3:30-4:45
Friday - Away Meet at Bedford at 4:30. The town is providing us with two buses to Bedford that should leave shortly after school and return around 6:30. If you plan on attending the meet and would like to bring your child home from Bedford, please email the coaches to inform us about your pick-up plan. It is a town rule that families need to notify coaches if they plan on bringing their child home following a sporting event. When you do depart from the meet, please check-in with Coach Moloney so we can keep an accurate list. Thank you for your cooperation with this town rule.
